1. How do I register for HKIB eLearning course?
If you are HKIB member and new to eLearning portal:

- Please go to HKIB eLearning portal,click "Course Catalogue".
- Choose your desired course library(ies) by checking the respective box(es) under "Add to cart"; or click a specify course library to view the courses included, then check the respective box(es).
- Your discounted course price(s) is indicated on the right-hand side. Press "Continue" to confirm.
- Enter your details (e.g. username, password, email address, etc.) and press "Submit" to create HKIB eLearning account.
- Input your credit card details to settle the course fee online.

If you are not HKIB member and new to eLearning portal:

- Please go to HKIB eLearning portal,click "Course Catalogue".
- Check the box of "If you are a Non Member, Please check here:
- Choose your desired course library(ies) by checking the respective box(es) under "Add to cart"; or click a specify course library to view the courses included, then check the respective box(es).
- Your course price is indicated on the right-hand side. Press "Continue" to confirm.
- Enter your details (e.g. username, password, email address, etc.) and press "Submit" to create HKIB eLearning account.
- Input your credit card details to settle the course fee online.
The following resources are recommended for optimal performance of the HKIB eLearning programmes:

  • Web Browser: We recommend to use the following browser:

    • ✔ Internet Explorer 10.0; or
    ✔ the latest version of IE; or
    ✔ the latest version of Mozilla Firefox; or
    ✔ Google Chrome; or
    ✔ Safari

  • Operating System:

    • ✔ Window 7 (recommended); or
    ✔ Windows Vista; or
    ✔ Window XP; or
    ✔ Mac OS X 10.4.11 or higher.
  • RAM: Minimum 256 MB of RAM, higher is recommended.
  • Screen Resolution: 1024 * 768 pixels or higher.
  • Software Requirement: MS Word, MS Excel or OpenOffice to open .doc and .xls files.
  • Browser Plugin: Adobe Flash Plugin ™ 10.x or more, latest version recommended.
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader ™, Latest version recommended.
  • JRE 1.7, latest version recommended.
  • Internet Connection
  • Minimum 256 kbps Internet Connection, higher recommended.
Yes. You need to download (all plugins are freely available on the internet), install, and configure the following plugins for the HKIB eLearning application.
i. Macromedia Flash Player Plugin
ii. Java Applet Plugin
- Go to HKIB eLearning portal
- Click the "Forgot your Username or Password" feature under "Login" field
- Provide either "Username" or "Email" to retrieve your user credentials
After course is launched, click on the "Progress" icon on the left side menu to assess your progress at any point of time during the training.
Purchased eLearning course libraries and courses are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase. You will have unlimited access within this 6 months.
